1. INSPECT REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that the rear wiper motor assembly operates.

NOTICE:

Check that the body ground is connected.

(1) Check that the rear wiper motor assembly operates when auxiliary battery voltage is applied to the terminals.

OK:

Auxiliary Battery Connection

Specified Condition

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (+B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (LS)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (E)

Motor operates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear wiper motor assembly.
