PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
HINT:
Pull back the instrument side panel LH so that the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH can be removed.

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH
(a) Apply protective tape around the instrument side panel LH as shown in the illustration.

(b) Using a moulding remover B, detach the clip. |

(c) Detach the guide and remove the instrument side panel LH as shown in the illustration.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE FUSE BOX OPENING COVER

7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the bolt.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the windshield wiper relay assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not subject the windshield wiper relay assembly to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.
