DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to disconnect the bulb socket.

(b) Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the bulb socket.

Remove in this Direction

2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED

NOTICE:

If the rear combination light LED has been removed, replace the rear combination light gasket LH with a new one.

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a T20H "TORX" driver, remove the "TORX" screw.

(c) Turn the rear combination light LED counterclockwise until the matchmark reaches the unlock position mark and remove it.

3. REMOVE STOP LIGHT LED LH

NOTICE:

If the stop light LED LH has been removed, replace the rear combination light gasket LH with a new one.

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using a T20H "TORX" driver, remove the "TORX" screw.

(c) Turn the stop light LED LH counterclockwise until the matchmark reaches the unlock position mark and remove it.

4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET LH

NOTICE:

The rear combination light gasket cannot be reused.

(a) Remove the rear combination light gasket LH from the rear combination light LED.

(b) Remove the rear combination light gasket LH from the stop light LED LH.

5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE

(a) Detach the wire harness clamp to remove the rear combination light socket and wire.
