If the electric parking brake is used continuously, the parking brake actuator assembly overheat prevention stops the system.

  2. Lock and release operations are performed without 2 second interval 10 times; or lock and release operations are performed without 2 second interval 4 times, and target current is not achieved during lock control

PROCEDURE

1.

ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE OVERHEAT

(a) Wait for approximately 1 minute.

(b) Check if the overheat warning has disappeared.

HINT:

If the display returns to normal and the electric parking brake can be operated, clear the DTC.
