INSPECTION

HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) With the speaker in the installed condition, check there are no abnormalities such looseness or rattling.

(b) Check that there is no foreign matter inside the speaker.

(c) Check that the speaker cone is not damaged.

(d) Replace and check.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

HINT:

Switch the right and left speakers and perform a check when either the right or left front No. 3 speaker assembly is suspected to be malfunctioning.
