2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System)

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

5. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)
(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the vertical adjusting handle LH while lifting it up.

6. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER LH
(a) Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide to remove the reclining hinge cover LH as shown in the illustration.

7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH
|
(a) Detach the guide to remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH. |
|
8. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH (for Driver Side)
(a) Using moulding remover A, detach the claw in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

(b) Pull in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration and detach the guide to remove the seat adjuster cover cap LH.
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)
(a) Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.

(a) Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and guide.

13. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER LH (for Driver Side)
|
(a) Detach the claw and guide to remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover LH. |

14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Detach the band. |
|
|
(b) Detach the hook. |
|
(c) w/ Climate Control Seat System:
|
(1) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(2) Detach the clamp.
(d) w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(2) Detach the clamp.
|
(e) Detach the clamp and claw. |
|
|
(f) Remove the 4 bolts. |
|
(g) Using a screwdriver, detach the guide to remove the separate type front seatback assembly.

15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
|
(a) Detach the hook. |
|
(b) w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Detach the clamp. |
|
|
(c) Open the 2 fasteners. |
|
(d) Detach the claw to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

(e) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
(a) for Standard Seat Type:
(1) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the hook to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

21. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Detach the clamp.

(b) Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH.
HINT:
Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors together with the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH.
(c) w/ Climate Control Seat System:
(1) Remove the front seatback felt RH.

22. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR
(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

23. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK
(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks.

Do not reuse the removed front No. 2 seatback hook.

24. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
(a) w/o Climate Control Seat System, w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Detach the claw and clamp. |

(b) w/ Climate Control Seat System, w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(2) Detach the clamp.
(c) for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:
|

(1) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.
HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

(d) Detach the hook. |
|
(e) Detach the hook to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.
25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Detach the band.

(c) Detach the hook to remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly RH.
37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Detach the clamp. |

(b) Detach the claw to remove the front seat wire RH.
38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER LH
(a) for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System:
|
(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors. |
|
|
(b) Remove the 2 screws. |
|
(c) Detach the guide to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder LH.
39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side, w/ Occupant Classification System)

(a) Detach the clamp. |
|
(b) Detach the claw to remove the front seat wire RH.
40. REMOVE CONNECTOR MALE HOUSING (w/ Dummy Connector)

(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the connector male housing.
HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the hook A.

(a) Remove the vertical adjuster gear LH.

(1) Remove the 3 nuts and vertical adjuster plate. |
|
|
(2) Remove the vertical adjuster spacer. |
|
|
(3) Remove the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly LH. |
