Stop Light Relay Actuator Stuck

DESCRIPTION

for HV Model:

  • The brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) sends a stop light operation request signal to the stop light control relay (stop light switch assembly). When the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) detects a malfunction relating to the stop light circuit, the forward recognition camera is notified via CAN communication, and C142571 is output.

for Gasoline Model:

  • The brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) sends a stop light operation request signal to the stop light control relay (stop light switch assembly). When the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) detects a malfunction relating to the stop light circuit, the forward recognition camera is notified via CAN communication, and C142571 is output.

  • Once 3 seconds elapse after turning the ignition switch to ON, the system receives a stop light circuit malfunction signal from the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) for approximately 1 second or more.

for Gasoline Model:

  • Once 3 seconds elapse after turning the ignition switch to ON, the system receives a stop light circuit malfunction signal from the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) for approximately 1 second or more.
