DTC
B14BD
Refrigerant Overabundance Filling Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored if the amount of refrigerant in the air conditioning system exceeds a threshold. The air conditioning amplifier assembly judges whether the amount of refrigerant is appropriate based on the detected refrigerant pressure and compressor with pulley assembly operation current. If the amount of refrigerant in the system is determined to have exceeded a threshold, operation of the compressor with pulley assembly will be stopped, and will remain stopped even if the ignition switch is turned off and then the engine is restarted.
