ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

If the ignition switch is ON, the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly applies current to the MREL terminal to turn the IGCT relay on. This supplies power to the +B1 and +B2 terminals.

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (+B1, +B2 VOLTAGE)

(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the A30 and A31 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Remove the IGCT NO. 2 fuse from the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.

(a) Disconnect the A29 and A30 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connectors.

(b) Remove the IGCT NO. 2 fuse from the No. 3 relay block and junction block assembly.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(b) Disconnect the A29 and A30 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
