POWER STEERING ECU INITIAL SETTING
NOTICE:
After replacing the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly), perform power steering ECU initial setting.
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(e) Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Utility / Power Steering ECU Initial Setting.
(f) Perform power steering ECU initial setting.

(g) Wait until the power steering warning light changes from illuminating in red to flashing in red.
(h) Clear the Vehicle Control History (RoB).

(i) Turn the ignition switch off.
(j) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(k) Check that DTCs are not output.
(l) Check that the Vehicle Control History (RoB) is not output.
