DTC SUMMARY
MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION
These DTCs indicate that the current sensor value is abnormal. The cause of this malfunction may be one of the following:
Inverter internal malfunction
-
Inverter with converter assembly internal circuit malfunction
Inverter low-voltage circuit malfunction
-
The connectors are not connected properly
DESCRIPTION
The motor generator control ECU (MG ECU), which is built into the inverter with converter assembly, monitors the rear motor inverter current sensor. These DTCs indicate the malfunction of current sensors and do not indicate a malfunction of the high-voltage system.
DTC No.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
HINT:
After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.
-
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
-
Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
With ignition switch ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and wait for 5 seconds or more.
-
Depress the accelerator pedal of the vehicle with the engine stopped and the shift lever in P to start the engine.
-
Drive the vehicle forward with the shift lever in D for 5 m (16 ft.) or more.
-
Drive the vehicle backward with the shift lever in R for 5 m (16 ft.) or more.
-
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Rear Motor Generator / Utility / All Readiness.
-
Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
-
If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
-
If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
-
If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
CAUTION:
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
