DESCRIPTION
for HV Model:
-
The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the hybrid vehicle control ECU via the CAN communication line.
-
When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.
-
When the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.
for Gasoline Model:
-
The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the ECM via the CAN communication line.
-
When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.
-
When the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.
DTC No.

Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility Not Programmed
|
for HV Model:
-
Once 3 seconds elapse after turning the ignition switch to ON, the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) based on the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM for approximately 3 seconds or more
for Gasoline Model:
-
Once 3 seconds elapse after turning the ignition switch to ON, the system is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM and vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the forward recognition camera for approximately 3 seconds or more

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
NOTICE:
-
When replacing the forward recognition camera, always replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
-
If the forward recognition camera has been replaced with a new one, be sure to perform forward recognition camera adjustment.
HINT:
Forward recognition camera adjustment can be performed by using either "One Time Recognition" or "Sequential Recognition".
