1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)

3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (w/ Grille Shutter)

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ Grille Shutter)

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector. |

(b) Remove the clip and No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet. NOTICE: If the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it. |

6. REMOVE BATTERY

7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector. |
|
|
(b) Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet. NOTICE: If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it. |
