NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

PROCEDURE
1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)

3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (w/ Grille Shutter)
Click here
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (w/ Grille Shutter)

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ Grille Shutter)
(a) Disconnect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

(b) Remove the clip and No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.
NOTICE:
If the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

6. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

(b) Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.
NOTICE:
If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
