NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, the navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR
Click here
3. REMOVE NO. 1 PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 propeller shaft heat insulator bracket sub-assembly.
Torque:
25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}

4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR

5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 8 nuts and transfer assembly from the transaxle.

7. REMOVE TRANSFER AND TRANSAXLE SETTING STUD BOLT

8. REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the 3 clamps and 2 connectors.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts, 3 wiring harness clamp brackets and clutch control solenoid wire.
