INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Inspect the headlight assembly LH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

OK:

Auxiliary Battery Connection

Specified Condition
If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit LH.

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (LO)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

Lo beam illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (HI)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

High beam illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

Daytime running light illuminates

2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Inspect the headlight assembly RH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.
