Front Recognition Camera Dirt
|
System operation was temporarily suspended due to the forward recognition camera not being able to detect objects.
|
Check if any of the following conditions are met:
-
Non-Toyota genuine front wiper blades are installed
-
The front wiper rubbers are worn
-
A sticker, accessory or other object is obstructing the forward recognition camera
-
There is snow, frost, dirt, dust or oil on the windshield glass, or the windshield glass is fogged up
-
The windshield glass is chipped or cracked
-
Non-Toyota genuine windshield glass is installed
-
Confirm the vehicle was not driven in bad weather (If temporary conditions that affected the camera such as darkness, backlighting, fog, etc. have improved, the displayed warning is cleared).
Factor:
-
The area in front of the forward recognition camera is dirty or obstructed by foreign matter.

|
Front Recognition Camera Outside Guaranteed Operating Temperature
|
System operation was temporarily suspended due to the forward recognition camera being excessively hot or cold.
|
-
Using the Techstream, check the following items for the front recognition camera in the Data List.
-
Front Recognition Camera Low Temperature
-
Front Recognition Camera High Temperature 1
-
If the display value for the Data List check items are displayed as "High Temperature" or "Low Temperature", perform the procedures listed in the diagnostic notes.
Cause:
-
The forward recognition camera is in one of the following conditions
-
When the ambient temperature is approximately -30°C (-22°F) or less, such as when the vehicle is left alone in an extremely cold environment
-
When the ambient temperature is approximately 80°C (176°F) or higher, such as when the vehicle is left alone in an extremely an extremely hot environment

|
Front Recognition Camera Outside Guaranteed Operating Voltage
|
System operation was temporarily suspended due to forward recognition camera power source voltage being excessively high or low.
|
Check the power source voltage of the forward recognition camera (terminal IGB). Refer to
for the terminal inspection and standard voltage.
If the power source voltage is within the specified range and "Front Camera Unavailable See Owner's Manual" is displayed in the multi-information display, the forward recognition camera may be malfunctioning.
Cause:
-
The forward recognition camera is in one of the following conditions
-
When the input voltage is approximately 9 V or less, immediately after starting the engine
-
When the input voltage is approximately 16 V or higher, immediately after starting the engine
