CAUTION:
Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, the navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (for HV Model)

3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for HV Model)

4. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER (for HV Model)

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
HINT:
Pull back the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH so that the lower center pillar garnish LH can be removed.

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

HINT:
Pull back the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH so that the lower center pillar garnish LH can be removed.

12. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER
(a) Detach the claw and guide to remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (FLOOR ANCHOR)
(a) Remove the bolt and the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

14. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the nut and the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

(b) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, pull out the locking button to release the lock to disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
(c) for Front Passenger Seat Belt with Selectable Force Limiter:
(1) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, pull out the locking button to release the lock to disconnect the selectable force limiter connector as shown in the illustration.

17. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

Perform this procedure when replacing the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
(b) Detach the guide to remove the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
18. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
HINT:
Perform this procedure when replacing the front shoulder belt anchor plate sub-assembly LH.
(a) Detach the guide to remove the front shoulder belt anchor plate sub-assembly LH.
