DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) intermittently monitors the LIN communication bus between the components related to the doors. DTC B2325 is stored when a malfunction in the LIN communication bus between the components related to the doors is detected consecutively 3 times.

NOTICE:

  • When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the Techstream to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 seconds intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

  • When the front power window regulator motor assembly LH is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the front power window regulator motor assembly LH must be initialized.
  • Recognition code registration is necessary when replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

(a) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

(b) Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.

(c) Disconnect the J6 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(d) Disconnect the I7 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

(e) Disconnect the L5 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(f) Disconnect the K5 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

(g) w/ Sliding Roof System:

(1) Disconnect the P4 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.

(h) w/ Panoramic Moon Roof System:

(1) Disconnect the P4 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

(i) w/ Hands Free Power Back Door:

(1) Disconnect the Q7 kick door control sensor connector.

(j) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
